2008 Video Update

One year after planting our forest and the drought has taken it’s toll. “We lost approximately 30% of our trees in the past 12 months. You’d expect to lose a few trees while they’re  establishing themselves, but the hot summer and low rain fall had it’s toll.”

The tallest tree in the program, a blue gum, has grown to approximately 1 metre tall, however many have not grown beyond half a metre. We’re hoping for a wetter year this year!
